Each volume of FOUR GEMS has been tailored as a one-day walking tour adapted to a wide audience of all ages. We have highlighted the most remarkable venues, events and locally-owned businesses considered today as hidden gems. Some have become iconic, while others still remain unseen details within the urban vibe.
Things change fast in a city: we have made a choice by selecting some places still in activity after decades while others have closed down more or less recently. Some venues have begun acclaimed establishments while others have only hosted ephemeral events. Nevertheless, according to us, the most important fact was favoring memorable scenes that truly built, at some point, the unique character and spirit of each neighborhood.
